I like gnome, it’s simple and clean :) but not too much as openbox or similar… what do you use?

I see really fast firefox with google spreadsheet on windows/mac but no one on linux (actually I saw only ubuntu machines… but more than 10 have the same problem)

UI: I’m just talking about gnome but firefox should integrate at least with gnome AND kde, the same way it does with windows and OSX

Ubuntu: I like it, used everything else since 8 years… now that I really have no time Ubuntu gives me the possibility to work with my computer without problems and having a debian based system

Speed is not an issue in Firefox. I use Google spreadsheets with zero speed issues. It’s fine.

Integration… I have no probs with proxy settings…

UI… why have it integrate with GNOME? Why not KDE, Or some other window manager. Honestly.. this is such a non issue… not worth even worrying about.

Crashes? I haven’t had a Firefox crash in months… seriously. It’s rock solid on my system. Try launching it from a terminal.. when it crashes, you’ll see something there that might give you a hint.

Oh.. and stop using Ubuntu.. it’s the Linux for newbies. If you’re into Linux long enough to no longer call yourself a newbie… then try out something better.. like openSUSE for example.
