Just a day after the official Ubuntu 8.04 release I packed and uploaded the new minibuntu, go download it and start creating your own Ubuntu:

Any chance for a step-by-step guide to remastering using minibuntu and UCK or reconstructor? I am looking for a bit of a dummies guide that explains what some of the packages do and why I may or may not want to include them. I think a lot of users would be interested. A lot of 50MB distros work pretty well. What are some of the differences between a 50MB distro and a 700MB distro? maybe a silly question but I would love to spin my own Ubuntu but I don’t always know what I need and what i don’t.
